WHERE WILL THE LOCATION OF OUR WEDDING BE HELD?

We will celebrate at the MGM Hotel National Harbor.
WHAT TIME IS THE CEREMONY ?
The ceremony is at 3PM in the MGM GRAND BALLROOM.
The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour just outside the ballroom area. Depending on weather conditions, the cocktail hour will be held outside or inside next to the ballroom area.
WHERE DO YOU FIND PARKING ?
There is FREE Parking on site, in a specific area which is a 5 min walk to the ballroom. This will have the American flag with a silver three wave statue in front.

However there is a paid parking area, The Casino entrance is valet parking, which is NOT free. Cost will be $35.00. The Casino entrance has a Golden lion statue with the MGM logo sign.
To avoid valet parking, drive past the GOLDEN LION statue up the hill and there will be another entrance way that is free parking.

Are we allowed to go into the Casino?
The answer is . . . YES!! BUT! HOLD ON.
There are strict rules you must follow,
First, the CASINO is off limits during the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. This is a time to celebrate our marriage and not get lost in the casino. However, there will be plenty of time for fun afterwards.
Secondly, this is the CASINO policy. You're NOT allowed to have any phone devices or take photos or videos inside the Casino at any time. YES, there is security at the gates. They are very strict on this rule. Please, gamble wisely! But have fun & best of luck!!
Are kids/babies allowed at the wedding?
Sadly no, this is a CHILD-FREE EVENT.
Is there a color theme for the wedding?
Navy blue, gold, pearl white, and burgundy/plum purple.
When should guests arrive for the ceremony?
3pm SHARP! PLEASE be on time. Plan ahead of time, keep in mind, this will be during the Labor Day weekend.
How do guests inform us about any food allergies before the wedding ?
On the RSVP card that comes with the invitation, there will be a place to indicate food allergies.
What attire do guests need to wear?
Semi- formal attire is required. Your choice of color. Just make sure it's appropriate attire.
Can guests bring a PLUS ONE?
It will be indicated on your invitation.
If guests need to suddenly cancel their reservation, what do you need to do?
There will be a cutoff date for RSVP's. If we haven't heard back by that date, we will assume you are not attending. We need to give MGM a count of attendees. There will be a guest list at the door. Any need to contact us directly, please call 301-439-1531 or 301-456-6235
Can wedding gifts be brought to the wedding ?
Yes a table will be set up for gifts.

Is there handicapped access?
MGM is ADA- compliant. Please let us know in advance if you have a service animal.
Will there be security during the wedding?
Yes.
Can we request music with the DJ?
We will let you know the protocol.
What time will guests be served food ?
Cocktail hour will be after the ceremony, The main dinner will held after the entrance of the couple.
Is there an airport near National Harbor ?
Yes, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is 20 mins away. Other airports are BWI and Dulles.
